In case nobody has ever advised you ahead of, throwing a next birthday get together is NOT THE Identical as throwing a 1st birthday celebration. When her very first birthday occasion was really for my partner and I (good day newborn blob), this calendar year my sweet female had opinions. She explicitly asked for a puppy dog themed bash “with pizza and ice cream cake” weeks prior, and she didn’t when waiver, so in a natural way we essential to deliver. 

We did not go way too crazy with the food items or decor, opting to keep it as basic as attainable (whilst however concentrating on a few pertinent information) and it finished up staying really cute. But most importantly, my daughter was thrilled to no stop.

A selfmade balloon arch (we acquired a kit! it was great and saved us a TON of dollars), some puppy paw print stickers, and a few tiny plastic pet dogs to decorate her ice product cake was the name of the decor match. We also picked up some truly cute pet dog-shaped foil balloons, comprehensive with ribbon leashes, and every single kid bought to choose one particular dwelling. I experimented with my hand at some Do it yourself occasion hats, which ended up amazingly productive. And Ivy and I whipped up some homemade pup chow and place them in “doggy bags” to give out as bash favors as her attendees departed. It was easy and playful and I’m thrilled with the results (terrorized household and all!)  Here’s how it all turned out…
